Located in the Heart of England are two magnificent waterway wonders, the River Great Ouse and Grand Union Canal. Without a doubt, there is no better outdoors activity/adventure day out, than a day canoeing on the River Great Ouse or Grand Union Canal. Whether for families, groups or corporate team building events, we cater for all requirements.

The river is a physically demanding full on activity/adventure day canoeing the River Great Ouse suitable for adults only. Boardering Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire with lots to encounter and challenge those canoeing. Recommended more for people with some experience and suitable for team building or adult groups. There is an abundance of wildlife including Kingfishers, Herons, Swans, Ducks, Canadian Geese and Wild Ponies by the river, not to mention interesting sites to stop and see. These trips do require alot of lifting of the canoes and the negotiation of a number of weirs, ideally for adults seeking adventure.

The canal is a more leisurely laid back day canoeing the Grand Union Canal more suitable for families. This is an ideal trip option for the less adventurous and families, with no flowing water and a constant depth. It also passes directly 40 feet above the River Great Ouse. Why not stop off and explore the history on how the Iron Trunk Aqueduct was built. This section of canal has a number of pubs along the way for refreshments.

Canoeing is an 'assumed risk water sport activity'. Knowledge and experience is handy but not essential.  As the activities are unguided, a safety brief is given before heading out on the water.
