A combination of both canal and river, this is our most popular trip as rated by previous customers consisting of an easy route or a more strenuous one.

This day trip starts opposite the Navigation pub in Cosgrove on the Grand Union Canal and is designed for adults due to the physical activity invoved.

Canoeing past the Barley Mow pub and Cosgrove lock onto the Iron Trunk Aquaduct where the canoes require carrying down to the River Great Ouse below. The trip continues with canoeing gently down river enjoying the tranquil coutryside and wildlife before picking up a canal overflow link from the canal to the river where the canoes will require to be carryied back up to the Grand Union Canal continuing in a clockwise direction into New Bradwell, passing the New Inn pub and over Grafton street Aquaduct before canoeing past the Secret Garden and the historical Wolverton Works. The Galleon pub is always a geat stop for some refreshments 2 miles before finishing back at the Navigation Pub in Cosgrove.

Alternatively for the more strenuous route, the loop can be completed in reverse.
